Sagarmatha National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site)
The trek lies within Sagarmatha National Park, located in Nepal’s Khumbu region. Established in 1975, the park covers 1,148 sq. km, ranging from 2,845 m (Monjo) to the summit of Mt. Everest (8,848 m). It includes the upper catchments of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers and is home to iconic peaks such as Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Pumori.

Namche Bazaar Trek – Itinerary (5 Days)
Day 1: Fly to Lukla – Trek to Phakding
Scenic flight to Lukla. Start trekking through villages and forests along the Dudh Kosi River to Phakding.
Walking time: 3–4 hours
Day 2: Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Cross suspension bridges and enter Sagarmatha National Park. A steady uphill walk leads to Namche Bazaar, with the first views of Everest along the way.
Walking time: 5–6 hours
Day 3: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
Explore Namche Bazaar, visit the Everest Viewpoint, Sherpa Museum, and nearby monasteries. Optional short hikes around the town.
Day 4: Namche Bazaar to Phakding
Descend through beautiful trails, forests, and villages back to Phakding.
Walking time: 4–5 hours
Day 5: Phakding to Lukla – Fly to Kathmandu
Trek back to Lukla and catch a return flight to Kathmandu.
