This is my 8th time trekking up high altitute mountains in the Nepal region with G Balamurugan AL (who does a good homework & proper planning before embarking on the trips). Rugged terrain, unique geological features & rock formations.
Mainly rhododendron forest and it's flowering season now. Huge magnolia flowers are also everywhere.

We all made it to Gokyo Lake (4790m) .. & some to Gokyo Ri (Gokyo Peak 5357m).

Hiking started at 0300 in temp -7⁰
