Overview

Nagarjun Hill, also known as Jamacho, is a prominent hill located west of Kathmandu city in Nepal. Situated at an altitude of 2100 meters above sea level, it is a part of the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, which was established in 2002. The national park spans an area of 159 km2 (61 square miles) and extends across the districts of Kathmandu, Nuwakot, and Sindhupalchowk. The security and management of the park area are overseen by the Nepal Army.

The trail to Nagarjun Hill takes you through lush forests, offering a scenic and refreshing hiking experience. The hike is relatively steep and typically takes around 2-3 hours to reach the top of the hill.

ITINERARY:
08.00 am. – Meet your guide at the hotel and drive about half an hour to the National Park entrance gate, which is 05 kilometers north-west of Kathmandu. Pay the National Park entrance fee, go through the necessary security check by Nepal army and start hiking.
Approx. 5 hours walk
Hike Start & end at the Fulbari gate, National Park checkpoint.
15.00 hr. drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel.
