Overview

Nagarjun Hill (Jamacho) is a scenic hill west of Kathmandu, rising to 2,100 meters inside Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park. The 2–3 hour hike follows forest trails and offers a refreshing escape from the city. From the top, hikers enjoy panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and, on clear days, distant Himalayan peaks. A stupa and holy site at the summit add a peaceful spiritual touch, while the rich flora and birdlife make the hike enjoyable for nature lovers.

ITINERARY:

08:00 AM – Meet your guide at the hotel and enjoy a short 30-minute drive to the Nagarjun National Park (Fulbari Gate), about 5 km northwest of Kathmandu. After completing the entrance formalities and security check, begin your hike through peaceful forest trails.

Hiking Duration: Approx. 5 hours
Start & End Point: Fulbari Gate (National Park Checkpoint)

03:00 PM – Return drive to Kathmandu and transfer back to your hotel.
