Overview

The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is one of the most popular short treks in Nepal’s Annapurna region, best known for its spectacular Himalayan sunrise views. The trail offers panoramic views of Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Hiunchuli, along with rhododendron forests, terraced farms, and traditional Magar and Gurung villages. Starting from Pokhara, the trek ends at Poon Hill, the main viewpoint. The trek can be done year-round, with spring and autumn being the most popular seasons. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Day 02: Drive or fly to Pokhara
Day 03: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga / Ulleri
Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani
Day 05: Early morning hike to Poon Hill for sunrise, then trek to Tadapani / Ghandruk
Day 06: Drive back to Pokhara
Day 07: Return to Kathmandu / Final departure
