Overview

The Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek is a popular and scenic journey into the heart of the Himalayas, set below the world’s 10th highest mountain. It offers an easy trail, comfortable tea houses, rich Gurung and Magar culture, and stunning views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Hiunchuli. The trek starts via Pokhara and reaches ABC at 4,130 m before descending. The trek can be done throughout the year, but spring and autumn are the most popular seasons among trekkers. ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu. Meet and transfer to hotel. Rest or short walk.
Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu – Pokhara
Drive or fly to Pokhara. Enjoy scenic views. Evening free near Phewa Lake.
Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 03: Pokhara – Jhinu – Chhomrong
Drive to Jhinu and start trekking through villages and terraces to Chhomrong.
Overnight in Chhomrong.

Day 04: Chhomrong – Bamboo / Dovan
Descend to Chhomrong Khola, climb to Sinuwa, and trek through forest to Bamboo or Dovan.
Overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Bamboo / Dovan – Deurali
Trek through alpine forest and valleys past Himalaya Hotel and Hinku Cave.
Overnight in Deurali.

Day 06: Deurali – Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m)
Trek via Machhapuchhre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp. Enjoy stunning mountain views.
Overnight at ABC.

Day 07: Annapurna Base Camp – Bamboo
Enjoy sunrise at ABC and trek back down to Bamboo.
Overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Bamboo – Jhinu Danda
Trek down to Jhinu Danda. Relax at natural hot springs.
Overnight in Jhinu.

Day 09: Jhinu – Pokhara
Drive back to Pokhara. Free afternoon.
Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 10: Pokhara – Kathmandu
Drive or fly back to Kathmandu. Free time.
Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 11: Departure
Transfer to the airport for onward journey.
