Festivals of Nepal

A Celebration of Unity in Diversity

Nepal is a small landlocked country between India and China, home to over 130 ethnic groups and 125 languages. This rich diversity is reflected in its many festivals rooted in Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, Christian, and indigenous traditions.

Major festivals like Dashain, Tihar, Holi, Buddha Jayanti, Indra Jatra, Chhath, and Losar show Nepal’s deep spirituality and strong community spirit. People from all walks of life celebrate together in harmony.

These festivals are more than traditions—they reflect Nepal’s unity, culture, and joy, drawing visitors from around the world.
