Your adventure begins from the moment that you land in Nepal. Dwelling in Kathmandu’s heritage sites will give you the vigor to conquer the trek that lies ahead. A thrilling jeep ride portrays the wilderness of the Nepalese highway as you make your way to Besisahar, and ultimately to Chame. A stunning view of the Marsayangdi River and the picturesque view of the Marsayangdi valley shall soothe you after a long drive. The greens slowly give way to arid desert-like landscape, which signals your arrival in the mythical land of Manang. This untouched land boasts some of the major landmarks like Bodzo Gumba and Gangapurna Lake. Words cannot do justice to the incomprehensible beauty of Manang.Across the JharsangKhola and across the Ghunsa Kharka lies Yak Kharka from where we can observe the delightfully decorated Mani walls. Amidst the rustling of leaves and the sounds of laughter that accompanies our trek, we are blessed with the delightful sight of Hiunchuli peak (6441m). As we cross the river of Kone, we arrive at Ledar where we are greeted by the Gurung people. Learn the meaning of bravery as you ascent the Thorung La Pass (5416m), and walk in the path of enlightenment as you head to Muktinath from there. Pray to the holy deity and make your way to Jomsom where you’ll taste the delicious apples, and later fly to Pokhara and ultimately to Kathmandu where your journey comes to a sweet end.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu|1350m
Arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport and meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. You have the option of going for a small walk if time is sufficient. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu Preparation and sightseeing
Today, you will be visiting the major UNESCO world heritage sites of the Kathmandu valley which include Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. You will meet our head guide and the other posters who shall accompany you on the trek. They will give you simple guidelines regarding the trekking region and they will solve your queries as well if you have any. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Drive to Besisahar|830m. By Jeep approx. 6hrs – Overnight at Lodge.
Our journey commences by traveling towards Besisahar on a private jeep. The beautiful drive takes us through the green hills along the banks of the roaring Trishuli River. This serpentine road shows you the typical Nepali highway. We stop at Mugling for a brief breakfast. From Dumre, we make our way towards Besisahar. This is a beautiful town which promises stunning scenery. Overnight stay at Besisahar.
Day 04: Drive to Chame 2670m. By Jeep approx. 5-6hrs – Overnight at Lodge – Not in Monsoon
Another day of sitting in a vehicle and admiring the scenery awaits you as you head towards Chame on a jeep. The ride goes through a steep mountain road and is a blend of bumps, dust, but most importantly the surreal view of the snowy mountains. By overtaking mules and most probably fear, you will arrive at Chame. Overnight stay at Chame.
Day 05: Trek to Lower Pisang 3200m. About 5-6 hrs walk – Overnight at Lodge
Today we’ll find ourselves trekking amidst a narrow path that takes us through the dense forests which eventually gives way to a curved rock which rises about 1500 meters from the river. As you walk further, you’ll observe the valley widen and right in front of you stands the huge Pangdi Danda. From there, we trek for a while before reaching the quaint settlement of Lower Pisang. Overnight stay at Lower Pisang.
Day 06: Trek to Manang|3740m. About 5-6 hrs walk – Overnight at Lodge
From Pisang, we have the option of choosing from two different routes, but we will take the route which takes us to Manang by going through Ghyaru. This trail is truly delightful as it shows us the amazing landscape and the mighty Himalayas like Annapurna and Pisang. On the way, we will visit a monastery and then finally arrive at Manang. Overnight stay at Manang.
Day 07: Acclimatization day. – Overnight at Lodge
In order to prepare our mind and body fit for the endearing trail that lies ahead, we take a day to rest and acclimatize in the cold surrounding. We can explore the major landmarks of Manang which include BodzoGumba and Gangapurna Lake. We can visit the Bragamonastery too if you have the energy. Overnight stay at Manang.
Day 08: Trek to Yak Kharka|4050m. About 5-6hrs walk – Overnight at Lodge
We take a trail that takes us upstream and reaches a village called Tengi. We climb out of the Marsayangdi valley and trek aside the Jharsang Khola. We follow the northern trail and pass through forests of juniper which slowly turn into vast plains. We cross another village of Ghunsang, and you can see old houses. Crossing villages and pastures lead us to the settlement of Yak Kharka. Overnight stay at Yak Kharka.
Day 09: Trek to Ledar 4200m. About 3-4 hrs walk – Overnight at Lodge
Our trek of the day mostly includes walking uphill and crossing suspension bridges over rivers and cliffs. While walking, we can get to relish the tranquil view of the majestic Annapurna, and a little further we can even see the Himchuli peak which encourages us to move further. We will cross a few settlements, cross the Kone river before finally arriving at Ledar. Overnight stay at Ledar.
Day 10: Trek to Thorung Phedi|4525m. About 5-6hrs walk – Overnight at Lodge
Today, we will walk right aside the rocky terrain and then head towards the Marsayangdi river. We pass through towering cliffs before reaching the Thorung Phedi. On the route, we will get to witness the tantalizing view of Mt. Gundang (5312m), Mt. Syagang, and Thorung peak. The route to Thorung Phedi maybe a bit slippery, so it is advised that utmost caution is taken. Overnight stay at Thorung Phedi.
Day 11: Trek to Muktinath|3760m. viaThorung La pass 5416m. About 8-9hrswalk – Overnight at Lodge
Today we will visit the famous Hindu pilgrimage site of Muktinath. It includes crossing one of the highest passes in the world namely Thorung La Pass. We will cross it from east to west and then walk down towards the Marsayangdi River. After crossing a bridge and the twisting trail, we arrive at Muktinath. Pray to the holy deity in this temple of salvation and feel serenity while you bath in its 108 taps. You can see the horde of pilgrims busy in religious rituals. After praying to the Lord, we will get back to our lodge. Overnight stay at Muktinath.
Day 12: Trek to Jomsom 2720m. About 5hrs. walk. – Overnight at Lodge.
Today is the last day of trekking and it is a pretty long walk too. We make our way through the Lupra Danda and across the Lupra village. This traditional Thakali village is home to the picturesque view of the surrounding snowcapped mountains like Dhaulagiri (8167m), Nilgiri (7061m), and Tukuche (7134m). You will observe that the rugged terrain slowly transforms into a wide plain and before you know it, you’ll arrive at the windy village of Jomsom. Overnight stay at Jomsom.
Day 13: Fly Jomsom/Pokhara /Kathmandu – Overnight at Hotel
Today will be spent mostly on flying. Depending upon the flight time, we will fly from Jomsom to the airport at Pokhara. The flight provides a scenic view of the surrounding snowy terrain. After spending some time in Pokhara, we will fly back to Kathmandu. This short flight will be scenic as well. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 14: Leisure day in Kathmandu – Overnight at Hotel
Today we will prepare for the final departure. As today is a leisure day, you can indulge in some relaxing time like visiting the zoo or going for a massage. Also, visit some sites which might have been missed on the earlier tour can be arranged as well. You can also shop gifts and souvenirs at the local markets in the valley. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 15: Transfer to airport for departure
Today is your final day in Nepal and our representative will drop you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure. Goodbye and thank you.
